More than 2,000 knights from Poland, Germany, Italy, France, Finland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and even the United States take part in this unique historical spectacle. Their staged clash is watched annually by over 100,000 people. In the knights' camps, which can be seen a few days before
the staging, the conditions of medieval life are recreated by 4-5 thousand people.
It is difficult to enumerate all the people involved in the preparation of the Grunwald Days and the Staging of the Battle. However, the greatest achievements in this field belong to the Head of the Grunwald commune, Henryk Kacprzyk, the President of the Grunwald Foundation, Józef Podolak, the organisers of the historical part, Krzysztof Górecki, Szymon Drej and Jacek Szymański, and the commanders of the knights' banners: Przemysław Rey, Stanisław Kula, Jędrzej Kałużny, Grzegorz Greś, Tomasz Konopka, Michał Wojtysiak, Jacek Świętnicki, Przemysław Kamiński, Marcin Tymiński, Bartosz Sołtysiak, Adam Maslaczyk, Grzegorz Kuklewski, Maciej Reihl, Kamil Szproncel, Jacek Grondke, Małgorzata Falkowska, Jarosław Struczyński, Mirosław Kropiński, Jakub Zajfert.
