Platinum Ostróda Regulations
1. The owner and administrator of the property is Platinum Ostróda - Spółdzielnia, with its registered office in Warsaw at ul Wronia 45/175 (hereinafter referred to in these Regulations as the “Hotel”).
2. These Regulations specify the scope of services provided, liability, and the rules for staying on the Hotel premises, and constitute an integral part of the agreement concluded by signing the Guest Registration Card, as well as through implied actions, in particular by making a reservation and/or paying an advance payment or the full amount due for the stay at the Hotel. By performing the actions referred to in the preceding sentence, the Guest confirms that they have read and accepted the terms of these Regulations.
3. These Regulations are available for inspection at the Hotel reception and on the website www.apartamenty-ostroda.pl
4. The Hotel provides accommodation, catering, conference and other services in accordance with its business profile, category and standard.
5. A description of the services, in particular the rooms, and the price list for services are available on the Hotel’s website www.apartamenty-ostroda.pl or www.hotelplatinum.pl
6. A hotel room is rented for hotel days.
7. The hotel day lasts from 16.00 on the day of arrival until 12.00 on the following day. A Guest wishing to extend their stay should notify the reception by 9.00 on the day on which the room rental period expires. The Hotel will accommodate a request to extend the stay subject to room availability. Retaining the room after 12.00 is treated as an extension of the stay. If the Guest vacates the room by 16.00, a fee of PLN 15 will be charged for each hour. If the room is vacated after 16.00, a fee for a full hotel day will be charged.
8. If no arrangements have been made with the Hotel regarding an extension of the stay, the Hotel reserves the right to move the Guest’s belongings to the luggage storage facility.
9. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse to extend a Guest’s stay if full payment for the stay to date has not been made in advance or if these Regulations have not been observed.
10. The basis for concluding an agreement for hotel services is the Guest’s registration at reception on the basis of a passport or a national identity card of a European Union Member State, provision of the personal data specified in the Guest Registration Card, and signing the completed Card.
11. All Guests, including children, staying on the Hotel premises and using hotel services must be registered.
12. Hotel Guests consent to the processing of their personal data necessary to provide the hotel service. Personal data are processed by the Hotel in accordance with the applicable laws and the privacy policy published on the Hotel’s website. Providing the data is voluntary; however, it is necessary to conclude an agreement for hotel services.
13. A hotel Guest may not transfer the room to third parties, including during the stay.
14. Visitors to hotel Guests may stay in the room between 7.00 and 22.00.
15. Quiet hours apply at the Hotel from 22.00 to 6.00.
16. Detailed conditions for making and cancelling room reservations are included in the reservation confirmation.
17. The Hotel reserves the right to collect payment for the stay no later than on the Guest’s arrival date.
18. If a Guest cancels their stay during the stay, the Hotel will not refund the fee for the hotel day that has already commenced.
19. The Hotel may refuse to accept a Guest who, during a previous stay, seriously violated the Hotel Regulations, causing damage to Hotel property or to Guests, or personal injury to Guests, Hotel employees or other persons staying at the Hotel, or otherwise disturbed the peace at the Hotel.
20. Additionally, at the Guest’s request, the Hotel provides the following services free of charge:
- an individual safe in each hotel room and storage of valuables during the Guest’s stay at the Hotel in the deposit at Reception, subject to points 29-30,
- providing information related to the stay and travel,
- storing the Guest’s luggage for a maximum of 24 hours,
- ordering a taxi
- wake-up calls
21. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse to accept, on behalf of a Hotel Guest, deliveries, including courier deliveries, unless the Hotel has previously agreed to accept them and has been granted an appropriate power of attorney.
22. At the request of Guests staying at the Hotel, additional equipment may be provided in selected room types, such as an extra bed, equipment for children, equipment for persons with disabilities, or equipment for animals, in accordance with the Hotel’s current offer and price list.
23. A hotel Guest bears full financial liability for any damage to or destruction of items, furnishings and technical equipment belonging to the Hotel caused by the Guest or persons visiting them. The Hotel reserves the right to assess the damage individually, depending on the work required to remedy it.
24. In the event of a breach of these Regulations, the Hotel may refuse to provide further services to the person who breaches them . Such person is obliged to immediately comply with the Hotel’s requests, settle the amounts due for services provided to date, pay for any damage or destruction caused, and leave the Hotel premises.
25. Whenever leaving the room, for safety reasons the Guest should switch off the television, turn off the lights, turn off the taps and check that the door is locked.
26. The Hotel has a statutory right of lien over items brought into the Hotel by the Guest in the event of the Guest’s delay in settling payment for the stay or failure to settle amounts due for services provided.
27. Children under 15 years of age should remain on the Hotel premises under the constant supervision of their legal guardians. Legal guardians bear financial liability for any damage resulting from the actions of children.
28. Minors aged 15 to 18 may use hotel services independently only with the Hotel’s prior consent given during the reservation of services and the written consent of their legal guardians.
29. The Hotel is liable for the loss of or damage to items brought in by persons using its services to the extent specified in Articles 846-851 of the Civil Code. The Guest should notify the hotel reception of any damage immediately after discovering it. The Hotel’s liability is excluded where the damage resulted from the nature of the item brought in, force majeure, or the fault of the injured party or a person accompanying or visiting them.
30. The Hotel is liable for the loss of or damage to money, securities, valuables, or items of scientific or artistic value only if such items are deposited for safekeeping at the Reception deposit.
31. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse to accept for deposit substantial sums of money, items of high value and/or items exceeding the storage capacity of the Hotel deposit.
32. Personal belongings left in a hotel room by a departing Guest will be sent at the Guest’s expense to the address indicated. If no instructions are provided, the Hotel will store them for three months and will then donate them to charity or dispose of them.
33. Smoking tobacco products and electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited throughout the Hotel, including in hotel rooms and on balconies. In the event of a breach of this prohibition, the hotel Guest is obliged to cover the cost of deodorising the premises in the amount of PLN 500, which will be added to the hotel bill.
34. For fire safety reasons, burning candles in hotel rooms and using heaters, irons and other electrical devices that are not part of the room equipment is prohibited. This does not apply to chargers and computer and telephone power supplies.
35. Bringing in or storing dangerous goods, weapons, ammunition, flammable, explosive or pyrotechnic materials is prohibited on the Hotel premises, except in the case of uniformed services officers and other state armed formations who are legally authorised to carry them.
36. Cleaning services during the stay are provided daily or at the Guest’s request.
37. The Hotel reserves the right to inspect rooms once every 24 hours to ensure Guests’ maximum comfort and safety.
38. Selected common areas of the Hotel are monitored.
39. The Hotel accepts small and medium-sized domestic animals—dogs and cats weighing up to 20kg—in selected rooms. Animals may stay subject to the Hotel’s prior consent granted during the reservation process and are subject to additional charges in accordance with the current price list (except assistance dogs). Owners of animals staying on the Hotel premises are required to carry certificates confirming that the animals’ vaccinations are up to date. Animal owners are responsible for ensuring that their animals remain quiet and do not disturb other Guests. Dogs must be walked on a leash and wearing a muzzle, under the supervision of their owner or an authorised person. Animals (except assistance dogs) may not be brought into catering areas. Animal owners are required to clean up waste left by their animals on the Hotel premises and in its surroundings. The Hotel may refuse to accept animals: dogs listed in the list of dog breeds considered aggressive in § 1 of the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior and Administration of 28.04.2003 (Dz.U. No. 77, item 687), reptiles, amphibians, arthropods and rodents, as well as other animals considered dangerous by the Hotel management. For safety reasons, rooms in which animals are staying are cleaned only in the presence of the owner or when the animal is absent from the room. If an animal is left alone in the room, please leave an appropriate door hanger on the outside handle of the door.
40. If a Guest has any reservations regarding the quality of services, they are requested to report them immediately to Reception, which will enable employees to respond and improve the quality of the services provided. Complaints concerning services provided by the Hotel should be submitted in writing and will be considered within 14 days from the date of their receipt by the Hotel.
